General description of the project type and size Citnalta together with its subcontractors constructed an architecturally striking 4,500 square foot boathouse that can accommodate kayaks, canoes and other small non-motorized vessels.
Description of scope of work Construction of Pier 96 Boathouse included a distinctive sloping roof and sloping dock made of zinc for long-lasting and environmentally friendly purposes. The Building’s interior and exterior received wood paneling and deck made of reusable tropical hardwood.  The 4,500-square-foot boathouse was built to hold 130 kayaks/canoes and has a boat repair workshop plus offices and restrooms, large sliding panels, which provide natural ventilation.
Original Start and End dates of construction The NTP was issued in 2003 and the project was scheduled for completion in 18 months.
